At our annul Rally this section has always featured the finest examples of cars produced by the British Motor Industry (particularly when it was at its' prime).
However, quite a few Continental and even American vehicles find their way on to the showground and the Club encourages them all.
The display is supported by many individuals and by Clubs including the Salop Yesteryear Club, who a few years ago included a Trabant which had spent its' life behind the Iron Curtain. Other Clubs include the Potteries and South Cheshire MG Owners Club, Shrewsbury MG Club, the Rover P6 Club and the Triumph TR Register together with the Shropshire Classics Club. There is also a separate section featuring cars belonging to members of this Club.
Exhibits range from Vintage models from the 1930's to Classics of the 60's, 70's and 80's ranging from Fords and Jaguars to names now fading into history such as Austin, Riley, Triumph, Standard and Morris. All in all a very fine selection of cars which are evocative of a bygone era, the entries last year exceeding 250 cars.
Why not enter your Vintage or Classic Car or just come along and savour the nostalgia of these old vehicles (and perhaps rekindle happy memories of your youth!).
